Well, this is the last post of the summer, the end-of-season post and as you know, although we don’t go on vacation in August, we do take a break from content so we can prepare for the new season with the focus firmly on it.
This year, I think the break in August will be for something else, hahaha. Today I’m 37 weeks pregnant, and that means I’m full term and this little girl can go out whenever she wants. So here we are, preparing cool things for September (you’re going to love it, I’m telling you) and in total nest mode, preparing the little girl’s things too. By the way, I’m dying to fold the mini clothes. How can everything be so cute??
Even though we are not on vacation, I will slow down a bit, but the team is still going strong and Bruna will be there, ready to help. If you have ever written to us by email, you will know that she is the goddess of solving problems and helping you with everything you need.
The post I’m leaving you today is a compilation so that this month you have it VERY easy to eat super well and super delicious.
A menu with several options so you can cook the change in August too. It is important that you do not completely abandon your habits because otherwise, it will be much harder in September (although we will be here to help you if that happens).
I leave you with the menu…
BREAKFASTS
For breakfast, you want something fresh and quick to prepare, so I suggest these ideas:
Overnight fig soup can be prepared the night before and taken with you anywhere.
Chia puddings are also ideal for this time of year. Here are two options:
The one with three cherries, which you can substitute for any other forest fruit if you can’t find cherries now.
Or the pudding with delicious apricot.
FOR SNACKING
For those moments when you feel like a snack, I’m leaving you with my star recipe for this summer: pickled gherkins, which, in addition to being made in a minute, are the most delicious I’ve ever tried.
STARTERS
To use as a starter or to accompany any meal, I HIGHLY recommend the eggplants with yogurt sauce, which are SUPER delicious and easy to make.summer
MEAL
As a main dish, one of the things that go down best in summer, which is prepared in a moment and always surprises everyone, is ceviche.
This is my star recipe for making ceviche, YOU WILL SUCCEED!!!
Crepes are also a great solution, especially because you can fill them with whatever you want or whatever you have in the fridge. I really like a mix of vegetables, some quality protein, healthy fat (usually avocado) and a sauce. With these instructions, you will see that you can make a thousand different recipes for savory crepes. summer
DINNERS
One of the dinners I suggest is cauliflower tabbouleh, which, although it is one of the dishes on my website that is most off-putting at first, is very successful once you try it. summer
Eating raw cauliflower is not a good idea at first, but then you try it and you are AMAZED because besides being a super tasty dish, raw cauliflower gives you much less gas than cooked cauliflower!!! You have to try it.
Another option is a grilled skewer, which you will simply fall in love with. All you have to do is accompany them with a good gazpacho and you have a restaurant-worthy dinner.
DRINKS
Although summer is popular for beers on terraces, for us who cook change, what we like most are slushies.
Here are 3 super delicious recipes for you.
And for the day when you fancy a more festive drink, here is a recipe for a mojito slush.
DESSERTS
And last but not least, desserts, I can’t think of a better idea for this time of year than ice cream.
Here I leave you a great compilation of healthy ice creams so you can fill your freezer.
And enjoy what’s left of your summer!read more
