The other day on Canal Extremadura, they did a nice and complete plastic report on me where I explained how to have a healthier and more sustainable life.
In this report, I also talk to you about how important it is to positively influence the world and the people around us. For me, it is very important that we first take responsibility for our diet and love ourselves a lot, to then love others and take care of this planet (our home).
It is important to take care of yourself on the inside. You already know that I am all about nutrition, to be well on the outside but also to think well. We already know that the intestine is the second brain of our body and that it is super important to have a good microbiota to be able to think and have a more positive mind.
I’ll leave you with the report. You’ll see that I’ve provided a lot of resources🙂
Banana and chocolate ice cream recipe:
Ingredients:
- 3 frozen bananas
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 4 dates (pitted, and if they are not soft, soak them for a few hours beforehand)
- 2 tablespoons hazelnut butter (optional, but if you use it, it will be AMAZING)
Procedure:
- When we have overripe bananas, we peel them and put them directly into the freezer. This way we have them ready every time we want ice cream and we can prepare it in plastic 3 minutes.
- To make the ice cream, you only need the frozen bananas, cocoa, and dates and you also need a powerful machine so that the ice cream stays frozen and does not become a cold milkshake.
- Mix everything well as I do in the video and enjoy.
Sustainable purchasing:
For me, picking up reusable cloth bags and going shopping in bulk is one of my favorite things to do. It gives me a lot of satisfaction, first of all for buying quality food and then, for knowing that I’m not consuming plastic. It seems silly but it makes me feel very proud of myself.
In the video, I also talk about the beeswax wraps that we already learned how to make. Do you remember that post? I’ll leave it here just in case. The truth is that they work really well and are a wonderful alternative to cover all the bowls I keep in the fridge, as well as fruit, and sandwiches… I love them and use them a lot. plastic
In the last section of the program, I tell you how to reduce plastic in the bathroom. I talk mainly about solid cosmetics, which I switched to a year ago, and the truth is that I am super happy.plastic
I bought my first shampoo in Malaga last summer and I fell in love with it. I thought it was super practical and that it left my hair looking amazing. If you want to buy them, I love the ones from the KIAORA store, both Iván and I have used their products and we love them. They also have body soap, cand onditioner… I’ll just tell you that they last a long time and are super healthy for your hair, that was my main reason for changing: BYE BYE toxicity in my hair. plastic
However, if you want to make them at home, I recommend the courses of my friend Victoria Moradell, the goddess of natural cosmetics and also one of my best friends. So I recommend her 100% because I know ffirsthandthat she is the best.
The report also features a body cream that I made myself, which is great because it leaves a super pleasant sensation on your skin and a delicious smell. You have to try it! Here is the recipe:
Body Cream Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 30 gr of cocoa butter
- 15 gr of shea butter
- 5 gr of beeswax
- 1 tablespoon almond oil plastic
Procedure:
- Put everything in a glass jar and heat it in a saucepan in a bain-marie.
- Once it is melted, mix well, put it in a mold a, nd put it in the refrigerator for about two or three hours until it is completely solid.
- And now you have your solid body butter. All you have to do to use it is melt it a little with your hands and spread it over your body.
I hope you enjoyed the article and that it helps you make your day healthier and more sustainable.
